Welcome to the web site for The Waco Rose Society.
Work on our roses at the Arboretum *Tuesday, April 6, 6:00pm. For those who have the time to spare, we are adding fertilizer, compost and mulch to fortify our roses for the upcoming season. In addition we will also be putting in some bedding plants and your help is needed. Bring rakes, brooms and trowels, plus maybe a wheelbarrow or two if you have one to help lug around the bags of compost and mulch. A few strong backs would be very helpful as well. Having lots of helpers will help us knock these chores out much more quickly. Please come if you can for however long you can and let me know. *Remember the Gardener's Gathering on Sunday afternoon, April 11th. We plan to have lemonade again at our table as well as some pictures Carla has taken. |
